DIY HAT WALL
As a Mom I wear a lot of hats, but there’s no reason those hats can’t be organized. 😝
Am I right ladies?
A few weeks ago, while tackling the never ending laundry piles in my house that just won’t quit, I realized our master bedroom was in desperate of a little makeover. (See the pic below.) Ya see, we moved out “the chair” that once housed our laundry and replaced it with a couch which only made more space to throw the clothes that “aren’t dirty but also aren’t clean.”
So I decided a quick lil makeover is just what our master bedroom needs. Oh and the best part, Gabe is actually in favor of this lil project because it means I’d finally hang up those “purgatory” clothes. So first up, refresh the couch with this cute little cover and some pretty pillows, then kill two birds with one stone by creating a darling hat wall in the empty space.
To create this look on your own, all you need is a few command hooks and of course your hat collection. (I’ve linked some of my fav hats for you here.) First I measured…let’s be honest, eyeballed how many hats would fit in this space. Then, I rearranged the hats on the floor until I found the design I wanted. Once I decided on a style and pattern, I went for it!! Just stick the command hooks to the wall and you’ve quickly and easily transformed a plain wall into your very own boutique.
If you’re looking for a simple and inexpensive DIY project, try making your very own hat wall! This whole makeover cost me just $100!
